Year 7 Admissions Appeals
Please find below the timetable for Year 7 Appeals for September 2024 entry. Appeal applications should be made in writing, using the Year 7 Appeal Form below, to the Clerk to the Appeals Panel at Ormiston Shelfield Community Academy; paper copies can also be collected from our Main Reception.

| Deadline for additional evidence | Thursday 6th June 2024 |
| Appeals will be heard | Thursday 13th June 2024 (within 40 school days from the deadline date) |
| Late Appeals will be heard | Within 40 school days from the deadline for lodging appeals where possible or within 30 school days of the appeal being lodged |
| Very late Appeals | Please note that it may not be possible to hear very later Appeals before the start of the new school year in September 2024. |

All Mid-Year admission applications must be submitted directly to the academy. The Mid-Year admission form below needs to be completed and returned to Miss Ferguson at the academy via: [email protected]
Mid-Year appeals are made outside the normal round of admissions. If you have completed a Mid-Year admission form and have been added to our waiting list, and wish to appeal your place on the waiting list, you should complete a Mid-Year appeal form (below) and return this to Miss Carnall. Your appeal will be heard within 30 school days of being lodged.
