Supporting your child's mental health
The Mental Health Support Team (MHST) is a service providing short term support in and around schools and educational settings for low level mental health needs including individual, group and parenting work. The aim of the service is to offer early intervention to young people and their families.
The Educational Mental Health Practitioners can provide training to parents to support interventions with children. The leads of the Educational Mental Health Support Team (EMHST) will offer a consultation service for school professionals to consider the most appropriate community services in relation to various topics.
