The sixth form provides A’ level, Academic and Applied pathways plus non qualification tutorials, mentoring and meaningful work experience, tailored to meet the needs of the individual student. We continue to adapt and develop our curriculum to meet the needs and aspirations of our students and aim to offer a curriculum that reflects the range of ability, interests and aptitude of the cohort. All pathways lead to progression to higher levels of study.
“There is good provision in the sixth form. Students achieve well and receive good teaching, support and guidance. An increasing proportion of students continue their studies in Year 12 and Year 13 and go on to university or college. The sixth form is well led and managed.”
“Leadership and teaching are good in the sixth form. Leaders and staff use and analyse sixth form assessment information robustly. This informs the staff how well students have progressed from their starting points.”
