Careers Education and Guidance
As part of the academy's commitment to providing outstanding and impartial careers information, advice and guidance (CIAG) to all students, we have a Careers Leader at the academy, Miss Woodhouse, who supports all students from Year 7 to Year 13 regarding their choices in preparation for their future.
Miss Woodhouse is available to support students from all year groups and is based in the Careers Office on the Orange corridor upstairs in the academy. To contact her, email: email@example.com

Individual guidance from the Careers Leader and Adviser in school, Miss Woodhouse.
A `drop-in' careers service for students of all year groups and we are currently developing a Resource Centre with comprehensive and up-to-date information on opportunities in Education, Training and Employment.
Access to computer programmes: National Careers Service which provides independent information and job and career ideas for career exploration. Start which is Interactive Careers Guidance and Education for teenagers.
Access to UCAS (information on universities in the UK).
A Careers Education Programme built into the Academy Curriculum.
A work place/industry visit in Year 10
A work experience placement in Year 12
