Ormiston Shelfield Community Academy Celebrates Strong Exam Results

Students at Ormiston Shelfield Community Academy in Walsall are celebrating today after achieving excellent exam results, with the academy continuing its strong upward trajectory.

Across the A Level subjects, more than half of entries (52%) were graded at the higher levels of A* to C, and strong progress was made in many subjects, with high performances in English and maths, while good results were also achieved in business studies, art, biology, PE and sociology.

The average Applied General grade was Distinction, with students doing particularly well in media, business studies, performing arts, sport and ICT courses.
