Black Country Enterprise Adviser Network Celebration Event at the Black Country Living Museum

The academy was asked to present at the Black Country Adviser Network event on Thursday 11th October to showcase good practice in relation to the careers activities we deliver at our academy. The event was also to recognise our engagement as an academy with The Careers and Enterprise Company and our Enterprise Adviser, Anthea Marris.

Mrs Hale, the Careers Adviser and five Year 8 students, Lula L, Ally M, Jack R, Dylan B and Tom W delivered a presentation about the careers activity that took place between 2017 and 2018. The students reflected on their experience of a career stereotypes event that they participated in which was supported by local business employees and national employers.
